Woodside reclaims its title…

Woodside, which sits just outside Kenilworth, picked up the Gold Award in the Business Tourism category for the second time following success in 2006. We would have been celebrating a hat-trick, but had to settle for silver in 2007. Naturally, we're delighted to have reclaimed our title.

Sundial Group as a whole, however, can celebrate three-in-a-row because Highgate House, our Northamptonshire property, scooped Gold in the East Midlands region in 2007.

These awards celebrate the successes and achievements made to deliver excellence to the Heart of England region. The Business Tourism of the Year award acknowledges a thriving business tourism market in the UK, and recognises in particular those attributes that contribute to unrivalled success. These include a commitment to excellence, customer care, environmental initiatives and a devotion to the training and development of staff.

Paul Williams, our General Manager, was present to collect the award and paid tribute to his team for delivering consistently excellent levels of customer service.  He is pictured collecting the award from Joanne Malin, presenter of ITV Central's news programme and Ed James from Heart FM.  Also representing Sundial was Jo Chudley, Marketing Director.
