Sundial Group scoops five further award nominations…

Highgate House and Sundial Group are finalists in three categories of the annual 'Meetings and Incentive Travel' magazine awards, while Woodside will compete in the National Final of the 'EnjoyEngland' Excellence in Tourism Awards.

The Meetings & Incentive Travel magazine industry awards is now in its twentieth year and remains the only competition decided entirely by the votes of customers and readers of the magazine.

For 2007, Sundial Group is looking to win back the "Best Venue Group Meeting Product" award it won in 2005, following a second-placed finish last year.  Our Northamptonshire venue, Highgate House, is a finalist in the "Best Value for Money Conference Venue" category and again in the "Best Conference & Banqueting Staff" category it won in 2004.  A third nomination in "Best Venue Group Meeting Product" is especially notable given the other finalists are all international brands with significantly larger UK portfolios.

Tim Chudley, Managing Director, was quick to thank the our customers for their votes.  "I am delighted to think that our customers consistently hold us in high enough regard to nominate us year on year.  I'd like to thank all those that voted.  That they feel strongly enough to do so is mainly due to the level of service our teams provide, and for that, and their dedication, I thank them too."

These nominations follow on from the announcements in late 2006 that Woodside won the "Business Tourism" category in its region of the EnjoyEngland "Excellence in Tourism" awards, and has been chosen to go head-to-head with six other winners in April's national final.
