Sundial BDM raises £750 for charity

Congratulations to Gemma Wiggins, one of Sundial Group's Business Development Managers, for completing a challenging charity run around a formula one racing track - Silverstone in Northamptonshire, just a few miles from Highgate House.

After preparing for the half-marathon over a period of months, Gemma was certainly not prepared for the heat on what was later labelled the hottest day of the year so far.

Gemma, along with her running partner, set a steady pace amongst the other 10,000 other entrants on the day. Amongst so many runners, Gemma had the stiffest competition from those in costumes -including two Dr Who Daleks, two rough rhinos and one classic Sonic the Hedgehog.

Finishing the marathon in good time, Gemma raised over £750 for the Breakthrough Breast Cancer Organisation - one of the UK's leading charities committed to fighting breast cancer through research and education.

Gemma would like to thank all of those who sponsored her and is thrilled that she has accomplished such a great event for such a great cause.
