Sundial Group’s Marketing Manager wins the first IACC Global Scholarship for emerging young leader

James Bland, Sundial Group's passionate Marketing Manager was chosen as the winner of IACC's first global Scholarship for emerging young leaders. Nominated by Tim Chudley, Managing Director for the scholarship, James's dedication to the conference industry was recognised by judges to secure his place as the winner. Rewarded with an all expenses paid trip to the North American Annual Conference in Atlanta Georgia in March 2009, James epitomises Sundial Group's values to develop every employee.

Sundial Group has been a long-time committed member of the International Association of Conference Centres (IACC) - a not-for-profit, facilities-based organisation whose mission is to assist members in providing the most productive meeting facilities around the world.

The IACC Global Scholarship recognizes the valuable contributions of younger up-and-coming hospitality professionals that demonstrate devotion to the Conference Industry. Recognising emerging leaders with initiative and commitment, the scholarship rewards candidates that evolve through self-development and participation.

James will receive travel expenses and registration for his choice of either the North American Annual Conference in Atlanta, Georgia in March 2009 or the European Annual Conference in Denmark in August 2009. The award also includes the Study Tour preceding either conference and is valued at $5,000.
