Leisure Facilities at Woodside

Relaxing at Woodside
Woodside's leisure facilities are for the exclusive use of our guests. To help you unwind, you are invited to enjoy our indoor swimming pool (06:00 – 22:00), air-conditioned fitness suite and sauna.
Fresh towels and luxury White Company toiletries are provided in nearby changing rooms.
If you prefer to relax in the fresh air, we plenty to offer within our extensive gardens and grounds, including a tennis court, croquet lawn, boules, 9 hole pitch'n'putt golf course and footballs are available from Reception if you would like to play 5-a-side football on the spacious lawn beside the main house.
While Woodside's 32 acres offer an idyllic setting for walking and jogging, if you would like to go further afield maps for local routes are available at reception to help you find your way! Mountain bikes and helmets are also available to borrow, should you wish you explore the surrounding areas. With a little notice picnic lunches can be arranged too, to help you really make the most of the countryside.
Bars at Woodside
Woodside's cosy and traditional Parson's Folly Bar (named in honour of a previous owner of Woodside) is the perfect place to slow down after a busy day. With a range of beverages including locally brewed beer and cask ale, there will certainly be something for you. The plasma screen in the bar shows sports and the next door games room features a Wii console, among other games.
For a more relaxed dining experience the connecting Mulberry Brasserie serves a Lounge Menu until 21.30, which offers lighter options and old favourites such as homemade British beef burgers.
Both the Coffee Lounge and Conservatory also serve as bars for large events and are avilable for private hire.

Woodside enjoys a wonderful location in the Heart of England. Kenilworth itself is a small and historic town that boasts the ruins of 'England's most important lake fortress' (pictured - click image for the castle's website) as well as a variety of small shops, interesting architecture and the remains of a medieval monastery.

Woodside is just under twenty minutes drive from Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare and home to the theatre company that bears his name; performing out of two venues in the town. Thousands of tourists visit Stratford-upon-Avon each year; mostly to visit the theatre or the historic properties associated with the world's most famous playwright, but also to enjoy the fantastic retail outlets and beautiful setting.
