News: Woodside Strikes Silver

Woodside’s continued commitment to offering a fantastic service to business customers has recently resulted in the venue winning the silver award for the Business Tourism category of the 2010 Heart of England awards.
The Heart of England Excellence awards ceremony, held in The Great Hall at Birmingham University on Thursday 21st October celebrated the cream of the Heart of England’s Tourism Industry. At the ceremony Sundial Group’s Woodside was named the winner of the silver award for Business Tourism. This is now the second time the venue has claimed silver for this award in the last five years, in addition to being placed Gold in the top spot for both 2006 and 2008.
Andrew Hewitt, Deputy General Manager said, "On behalf of the whole team at Woodside, I am thrilled that we have won silver this year which is a fantastic achievement”, he continued, “But we will all be working hard to try to reclaim the gold again next year.”
