Sundial Group's Midlands-based dedicated meeting and training venues, Woodside in Warwickshire and Highgate House in Northamptonshire, have both achieved ‘Gold Standard' in BDRC Continental's "VenueVerdict" survey.
BDRC Continental is the leading supplier of marketing research insight to the meetings sector, with a team of research professionals dedicated to this important part of the hospitality industry. Their surveys and programmes feature 200 UK Conference Centre groups and internationally renowned hotel chains, of which, just a handful achieve the ‘Gold Standard' accreditation each year. Following almost 17,500 "VenueVerdict" customer feedback surveys in 2010, both of Sundial's Midlands-based venues reached ‘Gold Standard' - Warwickshire venue Woodside, as well as Highgate House in Northamptonshire, which also won the national ‘Number One Conference Centre' and ‘Number One Venue' titles.
Comments from customers of Woodside in Kenilworth, and Highgate House in Northamptonshire, respectively, included compliments such as, "The staff at Woodside are without doubt the best I have worked with during my professional career. Every day at Woodside is a great experience for all delegates; I would have no hesitation in recommending the venue" and "we had a fantastic time and our expectations were exceeded in so many ways, we have used facilities in London and other local venues and Highgate was by far the best."
Jerry Toth, Sundial Group's Operations Director said, "We are very pleased to have achieved the prestigious ‘Gold Standard' accreditation at both of our Midlands venues, our teams work incredibly hard and it is great to see recognition for this." He continued, "I believe that the industry realise that being specialist conference and training centers means that we are able to provide fantastic, dedicated environments for guests."
Sundial Group also topped the 2010 ‘Value for Money' category in BDRC Continental's latest "VenueVerdict" survey, making this the third consecutive year that Sundial Group has headed up this category, having first done so for 2008.
