News: More Sundial Recipes Accredited by the Vegetarian Society
12 Aug 2010
Sundial Venues is an award-winning chain of conference and training venues based in the Midlands and South-East. Regularly topping independent customer service benchmarks for the quality of hospitality they provide, Sundial recognises that a group's culinary experience is a significant driver of customer satisfaction, so makes offering high quality ‘cuisine one of its main priorities. Part of this is undoubtedly driven by Sundial's commitment to inclusive catering - providing delicious, thoughtfully-conceived and carefully-prepared food to people with special dietary requirements, and not just generic lacklustre alternatives.
For this reason, Sundial has consistently submitted recipes to the Vegetarian Society for approval, and a fresh batch of dishes has just been agreed this summer, for instance the chargrilled chilli and garlic polenta with Halloumi cheese and Mediterranean vegetables, which is served with sunblushed tomato pesto and a rocket salad.
A range of Sundial's vegetarian dishes have been accredited by the Vegetarian Society, and the procedures and practices recommended by the society are adopted across all the meat-free options offered in their restaurants at Barnett Hill, Surrey, Highgate House, Northamptonshire and Woodside, Warwickshire. Sundial ensures that vegetarian options are prepared with the same care and thought as anything else on the menu, as opposed to simply making meals ‘without the meat'. Sundial's commitment to the Vegetarian Society means that the vegetarian options provided are not only prepared with the same care and thought as anything else on the menu but also that vegetarian options are always exciting and delicious. Using only premium ingredients means that superb cuisine is always produced at Sundial venues, while using the freshest produce ensures that menus are always seasonal, so variation is guaranteed.
The talented Sundial chefs have a passion for cooking and do so using the freshest locally sourced produce available to ensure meals are of the highest standard. Creative and innovative menus, which are adapted daily, are characteristic of each venue's restaurant.
As well as being conference and training venues, all three of Sundial's properties are available to host weddings and celebrations. Each of the venues also serves traditional Sunday lunches every Sunday and welcome party bookings.
