This approach sounds old fashioned because it is. The Sundial Story began with Diana Chudley, a post-war entrepreneur who developed a number of businesses whilst bringing up 9 children with her husband Michael. In the early 1960s they bought Highgate House, a run-down country house and transformed it into a home and guest house.
Responding to the needs of her guests, Diana developed Highgate House into the first country house conference centre. She showed that a business which understands customers' needs and shapes services in response whilst using creativity and innovation to add value was, and still is, the simple formula for success. This approach is deep in Sundial's DNA
