Refresh and revitalise both mind and body during this Mindfulness Retreat held from Friday 5th January to Sunday 7th January at Highgate House in Northamptonshire.

Bought to you by Mindfulness Teachers, Rosalind Hoyes and Claire Hartley, this weekend retreat will provide a solid introduction to mindfulness to those who are new to the practice and for those with more experience, it will provide an opportunity to deepen their practice. There will be instruction and guided practices, including mindful movement and we will explore how mindfulness can help us and experience how it works.

Friday

You are welcome to arrive at your leisure anytime on the Friday and make use of the hotel facilities. Late afternoon, there will be a welcome meeting over tea and pastries followed by a short mindfulness session. After a 3 course dinner in a private dining room in the evening, there will be a short mindful meditation session.

Saturday

Saturday morning begins with pre-breakfast Pilates followed by a full English and continental buffet breakfast. The day continues with a mindfulness session, a tea break, then a Pilates session before a buffet lunch, with healthy and vegetarian options. The afternoon is free to give you plenty of time to relax, enjoy the sauna and swimming pool, or walk in the grounds which include a tennis court and croquet lawn. Tennis balls, racquets, croquet equipment, mountain bikes and helmets are all available to borrow. There are plenty of great walks nearby too. Homemade cakes are provided in the afternoon and there will be a mindfulness session before a 3 course dinner in a private dining room in the evening.

Sunday

On the Sunday, the day starts with Pilates, followed by breakfast and a mindfulness session. The retreat will finish late morning but you are still welcome to use the facilities for the rest of the afternoon.
