Case Study: Spy Games
Case Studies, Case Studies
When a large organisation wanted a fun team activity to finish off their event, they approached the experts at www.spy-games.com. When Spy Games wanted a venue with the facilities and flexibility to accommodate that event, they came to Highgate House ...
It was a cold December afternoon in 2008, but that didn't deter a small, hardy band of people from taking part in Spy Games' 'Diamond Heist', an afternoon activity that energised and entertained the conference delegates.
After spending the morning in a meeting room, the client wanted to get their team out and about to refresh and refocus. It allowed them to break the day up a little bit; because the group had spent time absorbing some pretty heavy material a concentration break was essential. One that encouraged a little bit of team-building was absolutely ideal.
Spy Games' put together a superb activity, and Highgate House was the perfect place to hold the event.
Dave Thomas at Spy Games was impressed by Highgate House's creativity and flexibility.
'On my first site inspection, when I presented our request to the venue's Sales Manager, I was struck by the 'can-do' attitude throughout the team. We need an outdoor space in which to train people to use the equipment and run through some drills, then we wanted to use a meeting room as the gangsters' base to be raided by four teams from the company.'
'Instead of obstacles, we were presented immediately with solutions, and I was taken there and then to see the Marketing Manager, who was only too happy to convert his storeroom into a hideout, and allow us to use the grounds for a speedy getaway. We have our own facility where this activity usually runs, but we are often asked to take it on-the-road to complement another event and we are only too happy to do so, especially when a venue is as flexible as this.'
'At every stage the team at Highgate House went above and beyond the call of duty, and provided us with the perfect setting for our event.'
