About Bambino Mio
Bambino Mio offers a complete reusable nappy system and related accessories which are available in all major retailers in the UK such as Mothercare and Boots. Based in Brixworth, perhaps best known as the home of Mercedes-Ilmor, Bambino Mio started 12 years ago and has developed the business in the UK and internationally, achieving many regional business awards for international business. They now work with forty distributors in over 70 countries worldwide and as part of their global strategy arranged a distributors' conference in March 2010 to communicate the latest brand developments and bring the experiences of different markets together to share best practice.
The main goal of the event was to drive success through communication and over the three days they held seminars, presentations and informal gatherings to develop the relationships and enhance the way the company communicated with its international distributors. Plenary sessions focusing on the company and the brand were followed by presentations from outside organisations and suppliers. Two formal dinners were also held as part of the programme, recognising and rewarding the importance of the distributors to the business. The variety of meeting spaces, breakout rooms, dining rooms and leisure areas at Highgate House meant the venue could easily welcome guests from many countries and provide spaces for a dynamic agenda. An inclusive approach to catering also meant that looking after delegates with special dietary requirements and their own unique cultural approaches to business was not a problem. The facilities and service, coupled with its easily-accessible location, made Highgate House the ideal choice for the company.
"Feedback suggests that this was the best conference held by Bambino Mio yet," explains Sarah Sproston, International Account Manager at Bambino Mio, "and it certainly gave us the opportunity to reinforce our brand values, distribution strategy, product knowledge and marketing strategy with our distributors. This is the largest conference we have held to date, and the effect of the three-day event will have a long-lasting, positive effect on our business."
