East Midlands Tourism Enjoy England Excellence Awards

Highgate House's continued commitment to offering an outstanding service to business customers has recently resulted in the venue being named the best Business Tourism establishment throughout the East Midlands.

The East Midlands Enjoy England Excellence awards ceremony, held on 8th October in Leicester, named Highgate House as the gold winners for the Business Tourism category - the venue reclaiming the title it won in 2007.  Highgate House will now go through to represent the regional in the National Final next year.

The competition judged businesses in various areas including their services offered, facilities, catering, staff development, marketing campaigns, involvement within the local community and caring for the environment, among other such categories.

Paul Williams, Cluster General Manager said, "I am thrilled to see that the hard work of the whole team at Highgate House has been credited and that we have been recognised as an establishment providing a superior service to business customers", he went on, "Particularly in a period when competition has been tougher than ever, I feel that this demonstrates our commitment to putting our customers first, no matter what the circumstances may be."
