The Terrace Restaurant
The Terrace Restaurant is a contemporary brasserie-style restaurant offering modern European cuisine from a regularly-updated menu. It serves meals to Highgate House's residential guests, but is also open to pre-booked members of the public*. Contemporary and modern in its design, The Terrace Restaurant features plush, comfortable seating for up to 150 guests at mealtimes and offers a delightful environment in which to enjoy dinner. Away from the town centre, it also eliminates all the hassle involved with driving into town and parking. The Terrace Restaurant is fully wheelchair accessible.
Our menu is prepared by award-winning head chef Lee Gaskins and his talented brigade of chefs. We are committed to ensuring every guest who dines with us enjoys a fantastic meal and we use fresh, local produce to create innovative menus to tantalise the tastebuds. Each of our chefs shares a passion for using fresh ingredients and the methods they've learned and developed over the years: cooking as they would in their own homes for their families and friends.
We source our meats and meat products from Gillings Butcher in nearby Daventry, which is about fourteen miles from Highgate House. Fruit and Vegetables come from Troops Greengrocer in Brixworth (just under three miles) while bread and milk are bought from Creaton Post Office, which is just around the corner.
Cuisine at The Terrace Restaurant and throughout Highgate House is overseen by Group Executive Chef Jerry Toth.

As well as your evening meal, The Terrace Restaurant is the dining area in which you'll enjoy breakfast and lunch at Highgate House.
Breakfast and Lunch are served buffet-style from hot and cold stations flanking the entrance, while dinner is table-served and chosen from our regularly-updated 'a la carte' menu. The hot buffet service station also features a new finishing kitchen, where chefs will put those last little touches to dishes before they are served. At breakfast, eggs will be cooked to-order here.
* To maintain the private, secure environment we offer our guests, all parties eating in The Terrace Restaurant must have a prior reservation.
Please note that if a large conference booking requires us to close to the public, we will not be accepting reservations in The Terrace Restaurant for the period of time they are with us.
A range of our vegetarian dishes have been accredited by the Vegetarian Society, and the procedures and practices they recommend are ones we adopt across all the meat-free options we offer.
