Country House Meeting Venue

Woodside is a magnificent Edwardian country house, lying within 32 fabulous acres of grounds in the Warwickshire countryside. The drive approaching the house is surrounded by the gardens of the estate, on the left hand side of which is the Victoria Spinney, a plantation dating back to 1837, in celebration of Queen Victoria's coronation.

The stunning country house was acquired by the Chudley family in 1997, around the same time as Sundial Group Ltd was formed. Woodside was bought from Courtaulds plc who had been using the property as an in-house training centre since 1952. It was in 1998 that Woodside opened as a Sundial venue, specialising in conferences and training.

The fantastic facilities of the venue are housed within the country house itself; a conversion of the original stables, saddle room and coach house, which are today joined to the main house; and a building adjacent to the main house containing 70 impressive en-suite bedrooms as well as the fitness suite, sauna and indoor swimming pool.

Within the country house are the 10 main meeting rooms and 10 syndicate rooms; the Orchard Restaurant, in addition to four other dining rooms; a games room; the lounge bar and a conservatory with panoramic views of the lawns. The now adjoining conversion from the stable block houses four en-suite bedrooms, a meeting room, a further lounge area and Woodside's main bar, Parson's Folly, named after a previous owner of the property - Reverend Henry Cunliffe.
