Food at Highgate House

We are committed to ensuring every guest who dines with us enjoys a fantastic meal and we use fresh, local produce to create innovative menus to tantalise the tastebuds.  Our brigade of chefs is award-winning and shares a passion for using fresh ingredients and the methods they've learned and developed over the years: cooking as they would in their own homes for their families and friends.

We source our meats and meat products from Gillings Butcher in nearby Daventry, which is about fourteen miles from Highgate House.  Fruit and Vegetables come from Troops Greengrocer in Brixworth (just under three miles) while bread and milk are bought from Creaton Post Office, which is just around the corner.

If you have a special dietary requirement, please do inform our event planners who will work with the chefs at the property to ensure you can enjoy mealtimes alongside the other members of your group.  Our Vegetarian Society accreditation means that the Vegetarian options we provide are prepared with the same care and thought as anything else on the menu. In fact, with a little notice, we can accommodate any dietary requirement.

Highgate House is a delightful setting for corporate hospitality dining events (see our choice of dining rooms), as well as high class private celebrations.  Our menu selections are prepared to give you maximum choice and flexibility to suit a range of budgets.

We offer an attentive yet unobtrusive level of service that allows you to entertain your guests as if Highgate House was your own.  Whatever type of catering event you wish to plan, we can tailor-make a package and menu to suit your needs: ranging from a five-course, fine dining gala dinner to a simple buffet.  The 'Mealtime Enhancements' page outlines a few ideas and themes that we have done in the past that could work superbly for your event.

Conference Guests

Our Complete Meeting Package includes all meals and unlimited refreshments for conference guests staying with us.  At Highgate House, breakfast and lunch are buffet meals while dinner is a four-course table d’hôte meal.
