Meals at Highgate House are served in the Terrace Restaurant; a contemporary, modern dining area that can accommodate up to 150 diners.

However, if you are looking to have a private setting for your meal, Highgate House has a selection of dining rooms able to accommodate events of various sizes.  Ranging from period rooms in the main house to our large Coote function suite, there is a room to suit any event, whether it is a corporate function, christmas party, gala dinner or a formal reception and whether you want a gourmet experience or simply a finger buffet.

Conference groups can upgrade their mealtimes by booking a private room for their evening meal or lunch.  A small room hire charge is applicable for this, please speak to our Sales Team (01604 731999) for more details.

In addition to catering for our residential and non-residential conference and meeting guests, our Dining Rooms and tables in the Terrace Restaurant are available for pre-booked private meals and celebrations. Come to Highgate House and celebrate an anniversary, birthday or other occasion with a superb meal in delightful, civilised surroundings away from a busy town centre yet easily accessible with ample free parking.  The quality of food we serve and the elegance of setting puts Highgate House on a par with the finest restaurants in Northampton.

Most of our private dining rooms are located within the main house and, as such, have a more traditional atmosphere in keeping with a seventeenth century property.  The Baronial Hall is an imposing, wood-panelled room with an impressive fireplace, chandeliers and minstrels' gallery - perfect for an exquisite meal to celebrate a significant or important occasion.  The Drawing Room and Library, although smaller rooms, are no less impressive and provide the ideal setting for intimate meals with close family or friends.

To ensure security and privacy for our conference guests, tables in the Terrace Restaurant, as well as the use of our Private Dining Rooms, are available by reservation only.  On occasion, the level and nature of business we have in may preclude additional bookings so we advise phoning to check availability as soon as you have a date for your event.
